Your session with Peekaboo Photography will focus on capturing all the things that change too quickly, tiny toes, button nose, little hands... we are able to pose your baby in beautiful curled up sleepy positions, as well as a taking a variety of lovely awake shots too depending on your baby.
Sessions typically last 2 - 4 hours to allow for feeds, changing, settling - and the little babes definitely run the show! We play it by ear and there is plenty of time to change, feed.........and feed again.
BOOKING
We accept bookings as early as your 12 week scan and hold sessions up until your baby is 4 weeks old. We will use your due date as a guide. Ideally your baby should be between 5-14 days old when they are most sleepy and curled up. It doesn't matter if you don't know when your baby will arrive as we only schedule a firm date once baby is born, but you must be in our diary to ensure we have enough availability to do this. Newborn Sessions are limited and fill very quickly, we book up months in advance so to book your session please send us your due date and full contact details including an email address to receive a payment request for your session fee, there's then nothing else due until the week you receive your images and decide which collection you would like.
WHERE
Sessions are held at our beautiful studio in Melbourne. You just need to turn up and relax. Be ready to sweat! I usually crank up the heat to allow the little ones to be comfortable and warm since they will be in minimal clothing for most of the session. Be prepared to get peed on... I will be ready with lots of towels. And don't worry if that happens - that's just how it goes with newborn sessions!!
Our studio includes a comfortable lounge area where you can settle in, relax and enjoy watching your little one’s first professional photoshoot.
